WOKC Announces Former Livestrong & Susan G. Komen Executive, Chandini Portteus, as President & CEO

Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas, Mar. 7, 2017 – Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer (WOKC), a DFW-based nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funding for pediatric cancer research, is pleased to announce its Board of Directors has named Chandini Portteus as its next President and CEO. Portteus is a global nonprofit executive and strategic growth expert. Portteus, principal and CEO of CP & Associates, served as President and CEO for the Livestrong Foundation after ten years as the Chief Mission Officer at the Susan G. Komen Global Headquarters. During her tenure, Portteus led international fundraising efforts and programming spanning over 125 domestic affiliates in more than 30 countries. She also managed corporate donor relationships totaling nearly $3 billion in mission contributions.

According to WOKC Board Chair Linda Randall, “Chandini’s visionary abilities to see the potential for what WOKC would become under her leadership made her the distinct choice for our next CEO.
