Kids dealing with cancer need hope and support ....

WOKC provides hope and support to these kids and their families through several programs. The WOKC Ambassador and Buddy Bag programs provide hope and support to pediatric cancer patients and their families during treatment. The Young Heroes Scholarship program, funded by Texas Ranger Michael Young and Cristina Barbosa-Young, provides scholarships on a national basis to pediatric cancer survivors attending college.

WOKC also supports endowment funds at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and Plano to provide toys and crafts for the hospitals’ pediatric cancer patients and Spanish translators for non-English speaking patients so they can better understand their diagnosis and treatment options.
