Cindy Brinker Simmons
Founded in 1980 by Cindy Brinker Simmons, Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer is the oldest pediatric cancer charity in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. For more than 45 years, WOKC has supported children with cancer and their families through a compassionate, whole-family approach to care. By funding critical research and providing meaningful support programs, WOKC is committed to easing the emotional, practical, and financial challenges families face throughout their cancer journey.
"My life was touched by the loss of my mother to cancer when I was 12, so I made it my mission to do whatever I could to serve others and to provide hope for those facing this disease. WOKC is focused on helping unlock the mysteries of pediatric cancer and encouraging our valiant young heroes and their amazing families every step of the journey. Onward we go!"
