Nobody can tell our story better.

"WOKC has provided us with a place to find community when we needed it most. Through family and parent events, we've connected with others walking this same unimaginable road. The friendships we've built and the support we've received, for Norah and our entire family, has been truly priceless."

Warrior wednesday stories

Every child fighting cancer has a story worth telling. Each week, we spotlight one of our Warriors — sharing their journey, their family's story, and the strength it takes to face this fight. Warrior Wednesday is our way of putting a face and a name to the "why" behind everything we do, spreading awareness for childhood cancer, and celebrating just how amazing these kids truly are.

“Smiles are in short supply during cancer, and the Buddy Bag was like a warm hug from a friend. The Buddy Bag had everything we needed, and it showed someone cared- WOKC cared.”

Warrior Mom

“From the Buddy Bag all the way through, WOKC has made our cancer journey not just bearable, but also memorable and sweet. Thank you WOKC for walking with us on this road."

Warrior Mom

“I told my husband we were going to the WOKC Cooking Class Event. We will either be celebrating a good test result or using it to take our mind off a setback.”

Warrior Mom

"I just listened to the Kids Beating Cancer Podcast and I started to cry because I felt like finally someone knew what I had been through and what it was like. Thank you guys so much.”
