Wipe Out Kids' Cancer offers comfort and hope to kids with cancer through support programs serving the entire family and funds innovative research leading to new discoveries and treatments in the fight against pediatric cancer.
Warrior Family Program
WOKC's Warrior Family Program allows families an opportunity to connect and share their challenges and victories in their battle against cancer. Looking closer, it allows parents the opportunity to talk to other parents who are traveling the same journey with a child who has cancer, and it allows kids to be kids and experience some joy during a time when that emotion is scarce.
The newest addition to the Warrior Program is the launch of our Facebook group page (Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer Support Community). We ask our Warrior and Ambassador families (past Warrior families) to post positive outcomes, motivational thoughts, and information they have learned while going through these trying times. This form of emotional support is extremely valuable to parents who are coping with this extraordinary challenge.
