While we are very proud of the way we currently serve our warrior families, the needs continue to grow on a weekly basis. We receive several calls a week from social workers and child life specialists at our partner hospitals with various asks like grocery gift cards, help with a birthday party for a terminally ill child, or a family having car trouble that needs to get back and forth to the hospital to be with their child. There is one common denominator when we receive these calls - a family undergoing a pediatric cancer battle that needs immediate help. We also provide support for our parents and because of caring individuals in DFW, WOKC is able to provide that assistance. Our many Family Programs are designed to support every member of the family - because pediatric cancer impacts every member of the family. YOU can be an integral part of this vital process...and WOKC needs your help!
