WOKC is dedicated to advancing pediatric cancer research nationwide. Our Scientific Medical Research Committee carefully evaluates and selects innovative studies that may not receive traditional funding but hold the potential to improve survival rates and reduce harmful side effects. To date, WOKC has significantly impacted the pediatric cancer space by funding over 13 million in new cutting-edge childhood cancer research projects. This seed money has yielded tens of millions of dollars in additional grants invested in further critical research discoveries. Since being founded in 1980, WOKC has supported a wide range of national research projects across nearly every pediatric cancer type.
